Carla Cleary, PT, DPT, CHT, is the Guest Editor for this year's Special Issue of the Journal of Hand Therapy (JHT). The Special Issue's concept, design, and follow-through stemmed entirely from Dr Cleary, her 21 years of clinical expertise, and her conscientious efforts. While spending well over a year working on the Special Issue Dr Cleary also was busy serving as the Assistant Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation and Hand Management Center at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, as the APTA's Hand Rehabilitation Section President, and as an Editorial Board Member of the JHT.
